About the CAP Alliance Annual Conference
The CAP Alliance annual conference is the only professional development event focused entirely on the needs of career services professionals serving Part-Time MBAs, Executive MBAs, and alumni of MBA degree programs. Alliance members attend to share best practices and generate new ideas with peers from top MBA programs from around the world.
2025 Conference Programme
Preliminary schedule of events (subject to finalisation by the conference team)
Sunday, March 30
The conference kicks off with an Opening Reception from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Forum Hotel—an ideal chance to network and set the tone for the days ahead.
Monday, March 31
Start the day with breakfast (7:30–8:45 am) before a dynamic morning featuring a Keynote by John Byrne and a possible General Session with Zack Kass. After lunch, dive into two rounds of concurrent sessions (1:00–2:30 pm, 3:00–4:30 pm). The day wraps up with a UVA Lawn tour and dinner at the Colonnade Club (6:00–9:00 pm).
Tuesday, April 1
Enjoy breakfast (7:30–8:30 am), followed by a General Session with Jeremy Podany and concurrent sessions (8:45–11:30 am). After lunch, Jeremy Schifeling leads an engaging session (12:30–2:00 pm). The afternoon includes a tour of Monticello (4:00–5:00 pm), then dinner at Kings Family Vineyard (6:00–8:00 pm).
Wednesday, April 2
Conclude the conference with breakfast (7:30–8:45 am), a collaborative Group Sharing Session (9:00–10:30 am), and a Closing Session (10:30–11:00 am). The event adjourns at 11:00 am.
